Great LikenessJun 30, 2009 As a Star Trek: Enterprise fan and toy collector, I think the Enterprise line of toys are some of the best made and accurate of any line of STar Trek toys. A fantastic addition to my collection.
Art Asylum did an amazing job.
Good For DisplaySep 29, 2006 I, for one, am impressed with the Archer toy. I only have it for show purposes, so I can't speak for those who play with it, but it is perfect. I have it out of the box as well, but I haven't had any troubles with paint coming off. I don't usually touch it. So, overall, it is a good display and worth having for Enterprise fans.
Expected more form AA....Mar 01, 2004 The Enterprise line should have been soooo much better. If done correctly AA would still be making these figures and would be able to give us the rest of the crew. Likeness is good [as they were scanned...but still not dead on], articulation is there but block by the rubber pants that is covering the lower half of the figures. This rubber does not pose well, nor do the figures really sit well either. Once again figures will not always stand on there own [no peg holes or stands to help keep this inflexible guy on his toes].

Love it or Hate it - no inbetweenApr 24, 2003 Art Asylum's work on Star Trek has given us the best Star Trek toys to date. The sculpting, paint, and creativity put into this toy go far beyond what any previous maker has done. This shows in the uncanny likeness to the actors in the series and the high level of detail on the included accessories. Collectors of Star Trek and well made action figures in general will love this. Unfortuneately, to those not familiar with the Enterprise T.V. show they will be little more than a bunch of folks in variations of the same blue jumpsuit. Also, Art Asylum used a soft plastic material on the waist of these figures to hide the hip articulation. This has met criticism because paint peels off the material easily, and on some figures the material is misaligned. If you've seen these on the pegs, you'll know what I mean. This problem is significantly reduced on more recent production runs. This figure is great for collectors who display their items, but not for kids who'll expect miles of play usage.
Poorly PaintedNov 02, 2002 I am disapointed in the quality of the uniform blue. It rubs off easily and leaves the toy looking old and worn out. If you are only planning to keep it for show inside the box it does not dissapoint, however I chose to remove mine and pose it with the weapon and the blue rubbed off just doing that. I have written a complaint note to Assylum but thus far have not gotten a response.
