| | | Description: | | In 1996, HotWheels released a Volkswagon Customized Drag Bus as part of their First Editions Series. In 1999, the finally created another drag bus for Hot Wheels collectors. To this day it is still their most popular release in that category. In order to capitalize on that popularity they produced a 1/18 version that is just as popular and even more awesome with the detail that is involved. This is what the Volkswagon Bus should have been from the perspective of a car guy. This wild, custom drag bus features a forward tilting funny car-style body that opens up to reveal a HUGE Hemi V8 sitting between massive slicks. An aluminum wing and wheelie bars give away what the potential of this bus is on a 1/4 mile of asphalt. Custom paint and a chopped top just make it even cooler. | | | Features: | |
